All camps run 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,  unless campers are participating in an overnight. Before and After Care available.

Camp availability may change daily due to last minute parent cancellations. If you are interested in a camp that is marked “full” please contact the office at 610-793-1090 to inquire about possible openings or register for the waitlist.

Mud Monsters (CM)

Get wet & muddy at Chandler Mill Nature Preserve as you explore mud.  Enjoy making mud sculptures, painting with mud and playing mud games.  Too dirty?  You can rinse off in the Red Clay Creek.

Soil Scientists (CM)

Get down and dirty at the Chandler Mill Nature Preserve as you discover how important soil is.  It’s not just for mud pies.  Become a scientist as you explore how to filter water with soil or how soil can affect plants and animals.  Clean off as you go tubing down the Brandywine Creek.

Tiny Trekkers (MC)-THIS CAMP IS NOW FULL.

It’s time to stroll into summer and hike our property.  Do you have hip hiking gear?  Bring it along…we’ll have a show and tell and also show you how to be prepared for any hike.   Take a trip to a local park and choose your stroke…either swim with our counselors or practice in a tube.

Topsides (CM)

Take a hike at the Chandler Mill Nature Preserve to start your summer off…enjoy your lunch in one of the many nooks and crannies of this great preserve.  As you go canoeing, can you stay above the waterline?  Visit another preserve and compare the differences in habitats.

Shooting Stars (MC)

Age: 12-15

Learn all the tips and tricks to become the best marksman or woman!  Discover how to safely shoot a bow and arrow, crossbow, air rifle, 22 caliber rifle and shotgun.  Keep the fun going while practicing with atlatls, slingshots, tomahawk throwing and learn how to shoot trap and skeet.  Your expert leader and BRC’s Executive Director Jim Jordan, a certified Hunter Safety and Shooting Instructor with over 20 years of experience, will make sure all campers are safe and supervised while having a blast!  All equipment provided; no experience necessary.  Top off the week with an offsite excursion.

Live like a native, come explore how the Lenape lived all those years ago.  Taste the difference between a pancake and Lenape salpon (frybread).  Make a brush shelter to take a nap in.  Stalk the wild animals and play games to hone your hunting skills.

Way back when during colonial times, there were little modern conveniences.  How did they do it?  Find out what it took to feed a family and keep a roof over your head.  How did they shower?  Maybe it was at Shaw’s Bridge.
