Time for Turkeys

The Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Hunter Education division will host Time for Turkeys on Sunday, April 8, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Myrick Conservation Center.  This program will introduce participants to the world of the Wild Turkey and provide tips for how to prepare for the upcoming Spring Gobbler season.  Try hands-on activities like turkey calling, camouflage techniques, and decoy strategies while learning from experienced turkey hunters.

 All ages are welcome, and the program is free to the public.  Pre-registration is required (limited to first 50 enrolled) by contacting Derek Stoner, Hunting Outreach Coordinator, at 717-787-4250, ext. 3319 or derstoner@pa.gov      The program will be held rain or shine.

 All participants will receive a free turkey call and an illustrated guidebook to successful turkey hunting.
